Only people who were interested in Ooblets did follow it's reddit and discord -naturally-, therefore the initial criticism and discontent was, contrary to what you believe, originating from people who were invested in Ooblets. I was going to put in an edit to say it was stuff related to that behaviour on Reddit and Discord for more clarity, but accidently deleted it instead. It's a very accurate assessment of the behaviour of the EGS haters on Reddit and discord that the developers responded to on discord and Reddit, so nothing toxic about it. It wasn't about the behaviour of people that happened on Steam but the behaviour on Discord and Reddit which is where it happened at. It wasn't about you, it wasn't about the original poster either.

Oh, i very much know about the degenerate behavior of EGS haters who relentlessly attacked the developers because these EGS haters couldn't take a little bit of humor in the exclusive announcement. If you were still ignorant of this, I suggest taking your head out of your butt to research. That's how players who originally didn't care about exclusivity started to take a stance against the developer, and this is precisely why we are the majority.
